It’s absolutely gorgeous and the farms go all out with their u-pick pumpkin patches and fall festival that your family and friends will love. Some fall festival farms offer a full day of activities, some have haunted attractions, and others have fields of pumpkins! 

Lucky for us, there are plenty of options in the greater Seattle area, so we can keep exploring new spots every week! Don’t forget to bring your cozy boots and flannel and enjoy some delicious hot coffee or cider while you’re there. It’s the perfect way to soak up the season. Our absolute favorite fall spot to take our kiddos is Swans Trail Farm in Snohomish. We simply can’t get enough of it and make sure to visit every year! However, there are some other great options we are excited to explore such as Maris Farms, Bob’s Corn and Pumpkin Farm, and Remlinger Farms. We’ve heard amazing things about all of them and can’t wait to check them out.

Pack a pair of extra clothes and shoes.

The Farm at Swan’s Trail is one of the more popular pumpkin patches for families with its Fall Festival with fun activities for every age. Aside from the 50-acre pumpkin patch, highlights at this farm include a Washington State Corn Maze, a petting farm, wagon rides, a 40-foot hay slide, live duck races, U-pick apples, a children’s play area, and Farmer Ben’s Famous Four Little Pigs Show.

2. Bob’s Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch | Snohomish, WA

Bob’s Corn and Pumpkin Farm provides loads of family fun with its 40-acre pumpkin patch with 60 different varieties of pumpkins (did you know there were so many!?), a 12-acre corn maze, trike track, large playground, cow train, and hayrides. The food concessions and country store feature fall favorites including homemade hot donuts and hot cider!

Craven Farm is Snohomish Valley’s original pumpkin patch and a must-visit for fall family fun. The Fall Festival provides so many activities to enjoy from roaming the 20-acre patch to hopping on a hayride or cow train, finding your way out of a 15-acre corn maze, slinging some apples, meeting some animals, and feasting on fall favorites like apple cider donuts.

Thomas Family Farm in Snohomish caters to everyone throughout the month of October. While it features the traditional corn maze and pumpkin patch, its play area provides unique activities for kids. Highlights at this farm are the kids paintball, gem mining, inflatable games, mini golf, and new in 2022, a tube slide! For the adults, take a breather in the beer and wine garden and catch up on the game with the live streaming of games each weekend.

Fairbank Farm tucked away just north of Lynnwood will surprise and delight all ages! While small, it packs a mighty fun time (open weekends in October 2022) with so many animals to visit. Get up close and personal with baby goats, feed the ducks and chickens, and say hi to many more animals. There’s a few fields of U-Pick pumpkins, toy duck races, a hay tunnel, and tiny tot maze among other fun activities for the kids.

Biringer’s Black Crow and Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze in Arlington is one of the few dog friendly farms where your fluffy family member is welcome. During the fall, this farm features a pumpkin patch, 5-acre corn maze, skeleton graveyard, trolley rides to the U-Pick pumpkin patch; plus, U-Dig carrots, a maze, and slides for the kiddos.

Remlinger Farm is another popular family destination  with the Fall Harvest Festival and the Fun Park! The Fall Harvest Festival features hay rides, a corn maze, and fabulous fall food! The Fun Park (separate admission) includes more than 25 rides from a thrilling roller coast, giant slide, swing, barrel and pony rides, and much more!

Jubilee Farm in Carnation is a lovely family farm providing a family friendly fall experience. The farm opens its pumpkin patch Monday through Friday where you can grab a wheelbarrow and find the perfect pumpkin. On weekends, the Fall Festival  features hayrides, hot cider, food trucks, a farm market, and more fun.

Two Brothers Pumpkins at Game Haven Farm in Carnation is a family farm that has been a draw to PNW families for decades. Family favorites at this farm include the U-Pick pumpkin patch with a large selection of pumpkins and gourds, farm animals, mini hay bales, scarecrows, and cornstalks.

The Fall City Farms in Fall City offers an insta-worthy pumpkin patch experience featuring pumpkins of all shapes and colors. Carpinito Brothers in Kent may be the most picturesque farm set against Mount Rainier. The star of this farm is the expertly designed corn maze, created with a GPS-driven tractor that plants the seeds right where it needs to grow into the shape of the design. This farm also features a corn pit, hay slides, farm animals, rubber duck races, rodeo ropin’ cows, and a goat walk.

Maris Farms in Buckley is packed full of fun! All ages enjoy the corn maze, mega slide, ropes course, ziplines, tube slides, jumping pillow, pedal carts, wagon rides, cow train rides, corn room, roller bowler, animal barn and so much more! When the sun sets, the Haunted Woods opens, and is ideal for those older than 14.

Thomasson Family Farm in Enumclaw provides never-ending fun with some of your traditional fall festival activities like a corn maze, farm animals, apple slingshots, and duck races. Fueling additional fun, this farm also includes laser tag, feed box basketball, a chalkboard house, junior zip line, sand pit, slides, a corn box, trike tracks, a bubble table, Mr. Pumpkin Head, and giant lawn games like Connect 4 and Jenga.

Spooner Farms in Puyallup is a family farm with loads of family fun during the fall season. Their annual fall festival features a pumpkin slingshot, farm animals, corn maze, and a play town. Satisfy those taste buds at the concession stands with fall favorites like caramel apples and popcorn, and roasted corn.

Picha Farms in Puyallup packs a whole lot of fun on October weekends! During the Fall this farm features a corn maze (with a mini pumpkin prize for answering eight trivia questions), hayride, slingshot, decor, and delicious food. On select weekends, its annual Blue Grass Festival will be held, weather permitting. The 2022 lineup includes Steelhead, Downtown Mountain Boys, Runaway Train, and Me and the Boys. This farm is one of the few that allow dogs – but keep your pup on a leash at all times!

The Double R Farms in Puyallup has been a family farm for three generations. It features a 5-acre corn maze, a large selection of pumpkins, pumpkin slingshots (and one for kids only), live animals and decorations. If weather permits, get on a free tractor pulled hayride.
