Swan’s Trail Farms is a must visit spot for family fun in the fall season. Set along the Snohomish River, the farm is a popular spot for picking apples and celebrating the start of fall with pumpkins and autumn adventures.

The Fall Festival starts around mid-September and runs to the end of October. The farm features an enormous 50-acre pumpkin patch, the popular Washington State Corn Maze, a petting farm, wagon rides, a 40-foot hay slide, live duck races, a children’s play area, and Farmer Ben’s Famous Four Little Pigs Show. Don’t miss the kettle corn and apple cider! With no scary decorations and variety of activities, it’s the perfect spot for young kids to enjoy. Children 2 years old and under are free.

U-pick apples opens in mid-September featuring 5 acres of Honeycrisp and Jonagold apples. Leave your containers at home, the farm will provide one for you. Bring your own camera to capture the unique experience and beautiful trees.

In 2021, Swan’s Trail Farms began offering U-pick strawberries.

Note to self

  • Fall Festival is a great family fun event that is less than an hour. Tickets are required and can be purchase on their website with varying timeslots.
  • Fall Festival activities include a lot of fun fall activities such as apple picking, pumpkin picking, corn maze, petting zoo, duck races, tractor pull, wagon rides (social distance friendly) and much more. See their website for a complete list.
  • U-pick apples and pumpkins do not require purchasing a ticket to the Fall Festival. You can enter those fields for free and pay per pound.
  • They serve apple cider donuts, house made corn dogs, caramel apples made with apples fresh from the farm, roasted corn, freshly picked and roasted from the farm.
  • Buy freshly picked corn to take home!
