Molly Moon’s is an amazing spot for grabbing delicious local ice cream, especially during the summer. Located just steps away from the Bellevue Downtown Park, it’s the perfect snack stop after a leisurely walk or a long day at the park. The flagship shop in Bellevue boasts a monthly rotation of seasonal flavors, making each visit a fun new adventure. Our toddler is a huge fan of the strawberry flavor, loved for its natural taste and just the right amount of tartness. Their melted chocolate (my personal favorite), made with local chocolate from Theo, offers a rich and high-quality experience. Don’t miss out on their freshly made waffle cones. Be mindful that lines can get pretty long, so expect a little wait.
Nana's Green Tea

Nana’s Green Tea brings a unique twist to Bellevue’s dessert scene with its matcha-infused delights. Kids will love their matcha parfaits and ice cream, while parents can indulge in the rich flavors of matcha lattes and soft serve. It’s a great spot to introduce the family to Japanese sweets and a must-visit spot for all matcha lovers out there!
My personal favorite is the matcha soft serve – it’s super delicious! You get to choose whether you want a cone, cup, or cup with a cone on top, which I think is really cool. If you want to avoid the long line, I recommend ordering online for pickup. The matcha latte, matcha chocolate cheesecake, and red bean ice cream are also excellent – not too sweet, just perfect. Even though the place can get crowded on weekends, the line moves fast, and the wait is worth it. The modern interior design is beautiful, but the space inside is a bit small. Make sure to try their parfaits too – they’re so yummy! I highly recommend this place!

While at the Bellevue Collections shopping mall, check out this amazing boba and bubble waffle place! Happy Lemon is a fun spot for bubble tea and sweet treats. Their drinks are outstanding, and we can’t stop craving their bubble waffles.
Kids will love the wide variety of bubble tea flavors, especially the creamy salted cheese teas. You can customize your ice and sugar levels, and even the ‘less’ sweet drinks are delicious. Although it’s often busy, the wait is definitely worth it. We ordered the avocado matcha and the mango smoothie, both of which were fantastic! The kids, of course, love the original bubble waffle. Keep in mind that it is a bit pricey, but the quality of their boba is excellent. It’s a treat worth indulging in once in a while. Can’t wait to come back!

To avoid waiting in long lines, we recommend using their app or ordering online ahead of time. Plus, you’ll have little interaction with staff because ordering is done on tablets. It’s a pretty efficient process and the large screen with all the pending orders is perfect for gauging your order’s status.
SomiSomi

SomiSomi is an awesome place to get dessert! They specialize in soft serve ice cream and Taiyaki (fish-shaped pastries filled with sweet fillings). Kids will love choosing their ice cream flavor and Taiyaki filling, making it a fun and customizable dessert experience. I tried the Matcha Ube Swirl with a custard filling, and it was absolutely delicious. This Japanese-style ice cream is unlike anything I’ve ever tasted, and I highly recommend you checking it out!
Yomie's Rice And Yogurt

Yomie’s Rice Yogurt is a fantastic spot for unique and delicious yogurt and rice-based drinks. Their drinks are known for their lighter, fresher, and nuttier taste, thanks to the purple rice they use. If it’s your first time visiting, try their classics like Straw to my Berry, Mango Yogurt, or the signature Yomie’s Purple Rice Yogurt. The drinks are less sweet and creamier than your average boba tea, making them a healthy dessert option.
Hui Lau Shan

If you’re a fan of tasty mangos, this is definitely the spot for you! Hui Lau Shan is an Asian dessert chain from Hong Kong serving fruit snacks, milkshakes, drinks, and desserts. The Bellevue location is a quaint and cozy dessert shop with an extensive menu full of goodies. We decided to try the jumbo pomelo and mango sago with taro balls. The mango chunks were fantastic, and the sago had the perfect texture. The flavor wasn’t too sweet and it was incredibly refreshing! Hui Lau Shan is famous for using only the finest Ataulfo Mangos (“Honey Mangoes”) in every mango-based dish. Their mango pomelo sago and mango mochi are refreshing treats that kids will enjoy, especially on a hot day.
