Purple Haze Lavender is an awesome lavender farm out in the Sequim countryside. Enjoy a beautiful walk through the property with the scent of lavender. You will also find chickens, bunnies, and even a peacock, which our kids loved. The fields are well kept and organized. They even have picnic chairs to sit and enjoy the lavender field.

Between mid-June and September (Labor Day), the farm offers several flavors of delicious lavender ice cream and lavender lemonade from their Bell Bottom Beverages stand on the farm.

During the Lavender Festival Weekend (mid-July), Purple Haze charges a $5 admission fee per person ages 4 years old and up.

When do lavenders bloom?

Summer is the time for lavenders. Many of the fields in Washington begin to turn purple near the end of June, and by mid-July they are in full color. Harvest starts later in August. The best time to take a trip to the lavender farms is from mid-July.

Note to self

  • Appointments are required for professional photo shoots at the farm. Photo shoots are $50 for half an hour and $100 for an hour.
  • No drones allowed on the property.
  • Pets are allowed on a leash and with clean up!
  • Highly recommend trying their ice cream for a tasty treat.
  • If you are driving from afar, make it a day trip and check out the Olympic Game Farm in Sequim, which provides a family-friendly wildlife drive-through experience and watch as animals flock to your vehicle.
