The lights from Christmas stay up all through January so we got the experience of Leavenworth at Christmas time without the crowds.
Lights will always be on 7 days a week from Thanksgiving through February.
There are fewer crowds midweek compared to the weekends.
Most paid parking lots tend to fill up before noon.
Check road conditions on the WSDOT site if traveling over the mountain passes.
The local bus company, Link Transit, has free shuttles running 7 days a week out of their park and ride location behind the Safeway grocery store from approximately 11 am-7 pm.
