The Great Wolf Lodge is located six miles from the center of Centralia, and only an hour away from Seattle. No matter what the weather is, Great Wolf Lodge is the perfect family oasis with its indoor waterpark set at a toasty 84-degree temperature all year.
The resort has 398 rooms and features a massive (56,000 square feet) indoor waterpark. “Dry-land” attractions include an outdoor rope course, arcade games, glow in the dark mini golf, live-action MagiQuestgame (journey through the fantasy-forest with your special magic wand), discover gemstones at Oliver’s Mining Co, and more! There are also a few eateries, and a Starbucks on the premises.
All hotel units feature a flat-screen TV with cable channels. Some units include a seating area and/or balcony. Microwave and fridge are included.
- Waterpark -
Guests enjoy over a dozen water attractions from a large wave pool, swimming pool with basketball hoops and floaties, splash pads, area for young ones, and four adventurous water slides. Great Wolf Lodge also built an ingenious mechanism that transports the 4- and 5-seater tubes up the wall, so guests do not need to carry tubes up the stairs.
Note to self
Check in is at 4:00 p.m., however, sometimes your room is available earlier. You can also enjoy the waterpark as you wait for your room.
We recommend requesting a late check-out. You can also use the waterpark after you check-out.
Food is generally expensive at the resort. There are restaurants near-by and a McDonalds up the street. We noticed others bringing in food and even a few with a slow cooker as they walked into the resort.
